Refund policy

At SilkCotton Handicrafts, we take great care in delivering high-quality, handcrafted products. Due to the nature of hand block printing, slight variations in color and design are part of the authenticity and not considered defects.

1. Eligibility for Return

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • The product is damaged during transit
  • The product is defective (manufacturing defect)

Note: Returns are not accepted for reasons such as color variation, design variation, or change of mind.

2. Reporting a Defect

  • You must report the issue within 48 hours of receiving the parcel
  • Email us at: [your email here]
  • Include:
    • Order number
    • Clear photos/videos of the issue
    • Unboxing video (if available)

👉 Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted.

3. Return Approval Process

  • Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days
  • If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup or guide you with return instructions

4. Return Conditions

To be eligible:

  • Product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Original packaging and tags must be intact

5. Refund Policy

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item:
    • Refund will be processed within 5–7 working days
  • Refund will be issued to:
    • Original payment method
    • Or bank transfer (if applicable)

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Products without defects
  • Used or washed items
  • Items reported after 48 hours
  • Customized or altered products

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch
  • Once shipped, cancellation is not possible

8. Shipping Charges

  • If return is approved due to defect/damage:
    ✔ We will bear return shipping cost
  • Otherwise:
    ❌ No return accepted
